ব্যাংক চাইলে আপনাকে দেশের যেকোনো শাখায় পোস্টিং দিতে পারে। সোনালী ব্যাংকের কথা যদি বলিঃ Assistant Programmer আর Assistant Engineer(IT) -দের সাধারণত হেড অফিসে পোস্টিং পাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বেশি থাকে। তখন আইটি রিলেটেড কাজ করার সুযোগ পাওয়া যায়। তবে এদের পোস্টিং যদি শাখায় হয়, তাহলে মূলত জেনারেল ব্যাংকিং করতে হবে। Senior Officer(IT/ICT) -দের যেহুতু সাধারণত শাখায় পদায়ন করা হয় তাই তাদেরকে জেনারেল ব্যাংকিং করতে হয়, পাশাপাশি আইটি রিলেটেড সাপোর্টও প্রদান করতে হয়।
